You saw the video of my cat peeing on the toilet now here is the story and some advice.One day I was in the bathroom looking in the mirror and I heard what sounded like someone peeing in the toilet behind me. My cat Brando named after the late Marlon Brando follows me wherever I go so I knew that the sound I heard was somehow coming by him. I did not know how or what he was doing to make that sound so I slowly turn my head around and saw him peeing in the toilet. I was so amazed I just could not believe it I never trained him or anything. I went to get my phone to record it on video but he jumped off the toilet and left. Then sometime later I was walking to the bathroom and saw him peeing again in the toilet went to grab my phone and again he stopped. This kept on happening I had my phone ready by the bathroom to record him peeing and would slowly creep to the bathroom, phone in hand whenever I saw him go in there. He must of thought he was doing something wrong b/c he would run out of the bathroom whenever he saw me coming. So I decided to give him a treat after a saw him go to the bathroom in the toilet, I would go to the toilet and say now we flush the toilet and I would flush the toilet and give him a treat. This worked great he would go in the bathroom, see me, and continue peeing as I video taped it. He really loved getting his treat and knew if I saw him go to the bathroom on the toilet he would get one so every time I would start walking to the bathroom he would run right pass me and pee on the toilet for his treat. Now this is the funny part of this whole story or painful part. You know how in the morning when you are laying in bed and you have to pee really bad but dont want to get up and pee b/c you are so comfortable or afraid if you got up to pee you would wake up completely, so you try not to think about the fact you got to pee and try to fall back asleep. And this works you fall back asleep but then when you do finally decide to get up and pee you have to pee so bad it hurts and you cannot wait to get to the toilet and hurry to the bathroom. Well that is what would happen to me the problem was that as soon as I would head to the bathroom Brando would see me and run pass me and start peeing on the toilet. This would happen all the time I couldnt pick him up and have him pee all over the place so I would have to wait in pain and tell him to hurry up and go. I started shutting the bathroom door so he could not get to the toilet before me. He wanted his treat so bad that he started to sit on the toilet seat and pretend to pee even when he was not. It really was cute, funny, and sometimes annoying at the same time. Anyway, I started closing the door behind me when I left the bathroom and slowly the peeing phase winded down. I slowly stopped giving him treats and now every once in a while, I see him peeing on the toilet. I still think it is amazing but to anyone who has a cat this is a warning dont give a treat to your cat for using the toilet DO NOT!! You do not want what happened to me to happen to you.
