I remember sitting through countless high school graduations as people gave the lamest speeches over and over. I always wished I could have that opportunity, and just say crazy stuff. May 2004, at Virginia Tech's Interdisciplinary Studies graduation, I got the chance in front of 500+ people. And in spite of having the stage presence and charisma of stillborn possum, it was the most fun ever. Thanks to all those I stole from to totally misuse this opportunity.
